High Quality Mirror
We are highly experienced in producing top-quality mirrors. We only use a precisely cut ¼ thick glass with thick silver nitrate coating. The edges can be polished or beveled.
Looks like an ordinary mirror
It looks like an ordinary mirror when the display is switched off. The extremely thin hardware is hidden within 2 cm of frame, so no electronics are seen.
Dimensions and colors
We can produce mirrors in every dimension, with or without frames. In our Beta stage, Mirrocool will be prepared in 2 different versions:
- without frame (Bathrooms - IP65 water resistant certified)
- with frame, 4 color choices (Hallway)
Dimensions of beta versions: 60cm x 80cm (both versions)
Smart & Cool Mirror
Computer Hardware
Mirrocool is equipped with a high-speed, quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, built- in internal storage, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth adapters.
Built-in display
Mirrocool has a built-in, 5-inch, High Definition display screen visible only when activated. The mirror can connect with the Internet and your smart device through your home Wi-Fi network as well as Bluetooth.
Dedicated Mobile App
Through the advanced Mirrocool App you can set the type of information you wish to be displayed. It is 100% customizable.
Built-in HD Camera
The High-Def camera is designed for hand free control. With the use of gestures and facial recognition, you control the mirror. The built-in HD camera doubles as a security camera and takes selfies. You can switch it on or off in the “Privacy” mode.
Personal Assistant
Dates & Times Reminder
Mirrocool displays the current date and time as well as traffic and delays on your route to work or back home. It also reminds you about public timetables so you don’t miss a bus or train. You can connect Mirrocool to your Google calendar so Mirrocool will update you with your meetings and important dates.
Feed Widgets (Weather, News, Social Networks, etc.)
You can choose from many widgets; e.g., weather forecast, breaking news, and social networks like Facebook, Google+, Twitter and many more.
Future
In the future we will extend our collection of useful widgets for download. You don't need to buy a newer version of Mirrocool because it's designed prospectively. Only firmware upgrade will be required for new features.
Multi-user multi profiles
Face Recognition System
Mirrocool can store as many user profiles as you want. Thanks to our built-in HD camera connected with a fast processor and our sophisticated algorithm, Mirrocool can instantly detect and recognize faces and display appropriate user’s profile data.
Facial Gesture Recognition
Mirrocool can also recognize facial gestures to control the device. No need to touch the mirror. No need to use your voice. Want to switch between different widgets? Move your eyes top-right or top-left corner. Want to take a selfie? Just blink your eye.
Privacy
In “Privacy” mode, the built-in camera is fully disabled. In this mode you can still use Mirrocool feature settings in the “Mirrocool” mobile app by programming which widget you want to be displayed in loop every couple of seconds.
Home Security System
Security camera
Mirrocool includes a home surveillance function. In “Away” mode, the display is disabled and Mirrocool looks like an ordinary mirror, but the camera is switched on and is in motion detection mode. If the camera detects faces, which are not a “home users”, it will take pictures of the “guest” and sends them instantly to Mirrocool and to your Mirrocool mobile app with an alert notification. You can call the local police just after one click through Mirrocool app.
MirroCloud
Photos
Thanks to our fast HD camera, Mirrocool can instantly take selfies as well as hidden camera photos (in “Away” mode), which can be uploaded to our MirroCloud or shared on Facebook, Google+, Instagram or Twitter.
Online storage
Every Mirrocool user can gain access to the online MirroCloud storage to backup, protect and share your selfie photos made by Mirrocool. MirroCloud can also be a backup storage for your Mirrocool app settings and backup for your calendar.
